1st ever diaper bag

when my friend, fasha asked me to make a diaper bag for her, i took it as a challenge to myself.. she gave me a link to refer to (here), and i was so happy with the details that this tutorial provided.  

2 front pockets

1 big zipper pocket at the back

4 small gather pockets inside

i'm so happy with the finishing touch of this strap as i was struggling to sew the thick part of it.. :)

After A Looong Silent

why am i not posting anything here for the last 6 months??? huhuhu... jiwa kacau... tak tenteram...so no mood to update the blog...(but i do active in my FB - in fact it is much more easier with FB... no need to 'membebel' panjang2.. perah otak carik idea nak tulis...heheh)

Messenger Bag for Nivee

Love is in the air

My daughter's friend (najwa's friend), nivee was having her birthday party last saturday. since i know how to sew, i plan to sew something for her..

at first, i wanted to make a dress but i scared i would make a wrong size so, i made a messenger bag instead.

she invited my eldest one (nadia) as well, so from nadia i made a simple pencil case or pouch for her..

Messenger Bag for Najwa

Najwa my daughter, always has her own thought...

When she wanted me to make her a messenger bag, she was asking for blue stripe...

I had the colour & the patern in my mind but still didn't get the cloth yet...so when she followed me to the shop, she saw this one..

i tried to ask her to take another patern since they didn't have any other stripe patern...but once she made up her mind, u couldn't change it.

she told me that she didn't want velcro, and preferred this buckle...

she wanted a pocket at the side to put her water bottle...heheh... i don't know how to do that, so i just made it at the front with an elastic band...hope that will satisfy her...:)

i put a velcro pocket inside the bag and she's happy with it...

Najwa's New Telekung Bag

When i bought a new telekung for najwa, it came together with the bag. But that bag just has enough space to put the telekung after u fold it...IFF u are an adult who can fold in neat and small.

but being a small child at the age of 8, najwa doesn't really know how to fold neatly...usually she will fold and roll it few times until she can stuff it into the bag (struggling until she can fit it)...poor child...:-(

so..i made an initiative to challenge my skill...heheh...

i followed the old bag's pattern...cut it a bit bigger and sewed it....and tadaa....

no velcro yet....out of stock at home...and today i'm not going to any shop that  sells sewing material...

got no sling as well...will add it on later...

i hope najwa will love it..:-)
